Review on Diverse Bicycle Tube Assortments - Ideal for Road, Mountain, Kids, BMX, and More Bikes - Select Tube Size, Valve Type, and Multipack Size by Hugh Starr

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The hose broke at the valve stem. Received 2 replacement tubes.

The inner chamber was delivered on 04/11/20. The tube is fitted and I have ridden the bike many times with no problems, most recently on 6/16/20. Today the 6/24 tire was flat and was NOT holding pressure. I took the tube out of the tire and quickly found the hole where the valve stem attaches to the tube. For the photo I put a thin blade of grass in the hole. If there is a failure at the base of the valve stem, it looks like this chamber is beyond repair. This is "Freedom Bike DuroLite Tube 700 x 28-32". cI will see if I can find a replacement phone from another vendor/manufacturer. This tube came with a 60mm valve stem which my rim doesn't need. I'm wondering if a 40mm valve stem can give a slight advantage? Hey, I'm practicing camera switching. The two replacement hoses are the perfect size and hold air pressure very well. It will be interesting to see how many miles (bike time) I can get on these tubes, time will tell. Konrad, St.Louis, Missouri.
