I like the soft bristles. It's definitely soft and good quality. However, I am not sure if this is good for a child who is still teething. He just seems to bite the stall brush instead of letting me clean it. I switched from the finger type to this type in hopes that using something similar to an adult toothbrush would help him. However, it looks like I had to work hard to use this toothbrush on him. I end up putting an old silicone fingerbrush on top of this toothbrush and this gives me more brushing surface than fighting it and trying to brush one at a time.
