Review on Custom Accessories 41119 Compensating Hydrometer by Eric Montgomery

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is the one! - Tools and equipment

A few years ago I bought an arrow hydrometer, but the rubber suction bulb didn't fit the plastic housing snugly, and the solution suction tube twisted to the viewing area and was difficult to work with. I couldn't get a good sample of the solution into the viewport without splattering it all over the place. Even good pants ruined by bad work. Thrown away, what a waste. Very happy with this hydrometer! The suction plunger is located next to the viewing chamber, which is made of glass, so you need to be careful when handling it. The exhaust pipe is straight, which greatly simplifies the whole process! Includes a thermometer that shows you how much to add or subtract from the reading for better accuracy at different temperatures. Love it!
