This alarm clock's extra features are hampered by the fact that it doesn't even reliably do what other smaller alarm clocks do. It's a shame that this clock doesn't have a permanent power supply. Who makes an alarm clock for the deep sleeper that goes off with a chime? The backup battery doesn't keep it running - it just allows you not to reset the time IF you reconnect the cable and plug it back into the wall. I needed an alarm for my rescheduling and changing the alarm on this clock is unnecessarily complicated. The keys are unusually small. Even making sure your alarms are timed correctly is a two-step process, unlike most normal alarms.
