Having tried almost all branded and unbranded multi cooker bags, I was a bit apprehensive about trying a different one. Three years later, this is the only branded slow cooker bag I will use. No need to pour water into the multicooker insert or any other nonsense of that kind. Just open the bag, align the multicooker insert and fill it with food. I've used this on high and low boils with no side effects. Food cooks just as well without the liner. Having tried this with various brands of multi cookers over the years, the only brand I really had trouble with was Rival. But I believe this is a problem with Rival as their multi cookers tend to overheat during cooking. I melted a few bags using this bag in the Rival slow cooker and had to throw out the whole pot of food.
