My iPhone XR and iPad are notorious for not recognizing and charging any cable other than the original white cable. But these cables work great with my regular outlets. My phone says it's charging and it charges fairly quickly. A range of different length cords means I can keep one in my classroom, one in my bedroom, one in my car and a few more in my purse for long days when I'm on the go. long enough to charge and need to use portable battery. One small caveat: when I plug these cables into my computer to charge from the computer, the power from the computer's battery is drained through the phone's charging cable when the computer isn't charging from the wall. Then if you're not careful. the computer dies. Learned this the hard way. So now I just make sure I run my phone cord through the wall outlet and not through my Mac. :)
