Review on AMERICALOC GL300W Mini Portable Tracker by Daniel Warren

I purchased this product and another to track my child who is visiting his mother who is currently on vacation in Texas. We are currently in a custody case for our child who is currently living with me (mother lives in Mexico). To ensure my child does not leave the country but still has the opportunity to see their mother, I use this product to track my child's location with GPS location, geofencing and email alerts for various situations. I put this product in her backpack, another similar product in the lining of her suitcase, and then a third (software) on her phone. I figured at least one of the three would survive any kidnapping attempt, giving me ample opportunity to alert authorities at the border. First of all, purchasing, shipping and setting up the GL300W was very easy. I did the setup online and purchasing the plan was seamless. The device activated in about 10 minutes and showed the location in my house. I also set up a competitor device and a cell phone at the same time. Similar experience with them. I had to take a test before my child goes on Christmas holidays with another parent. So I geofenced my home and school campus and set the distance to the fence to 0.1 miles. I put the device in my school backpack. I'm setting up the notifications I want to receive via email for the events I need. The process took about 8 days. I was pleasantly surprised to know when my daughter left home and arrived at school, and also to see the exact route she took to school and then returned home in the afternoon. This enabled me to check on a daily basis to make sure my daughter was where she should have been when she should have been there. I initially had a problem with a competitor's product, when my daughter came home from school she showed it was still at school. This product (GL300W) worked perfectly and did not have this error. The 8-day test was successful. My kid left for Christmas and the device tracked perfectly from our house to the airport. He lost contact during the flight due to lack of cellular coverage at altitude, but regained signal when he landed in Texas. It's been a full two weeks and it's tracking flawlessly with about 30% battery remaining. My daughter is coming back tomorrow so I'm going to watch her get home from Texas. I emailed support regarding tracking in Mexico and was assured the product would work internationally. So far the customer service has been amazing and very responsive to get me within hours. Your prices are very reasonable for what I was looking for, no long term contract is required and I cannot price my child's safety and peace of mind in relation to this goal. The product does what it says on the tin and does it well from what I've seen so far. I was skeptical at first, but those doubts have vanished. This product is reliable. All transactions and tracking are done through a web browser. If I had a suggestion for improvement, it would be a handy app for Android or IOS. I'm pretty good with computers so I was able to figure out what I didn't understand. There are also videos on YouTube that can help you if you have any questions.
