I bought this item just for my bag. I needed a pocket for my credit card, but I also wanted the phone to be held with one finger. The magnetic part was just a pocket bonus. Surprisingly, I really liked the magnet. It attaches easily to my vent. Easy to adjust viewing angle. The part that attaches to the vent will loosen over time, but this is easily fixed by unplugging and reattaching it from the vent from time to time. I also liked the bag. It has my driver's license, my credit card, and my health insurance card. It also holds the metal plate so it sticks to the magnet. I had a few issues with cards slipping out, but it seems to have stopped since I added the third card. I do not use an elastic money band. Instead, I use it to slide my finger through it, but not as often as I thought it would. Cons: The product comes with instructions on how to attach the round metal plate to the back of your phone or phone case. However, if you use a case, it won't sit flush with the plate on the back of the phone. So all you have to do is attach the case to your phone. Then you put a rectangular metal plate in the pocket.
