Review on Deconovo Pink Curtains For Kids Room - Silver Wave Foil Printed Blackout Thermal Insulated Window Drapes by Glenn Cartwright

Blocks Heat, Light, and Muffles Sound

I put these panels on a window in a street-facing bedroom. In our community there are street lamps every three houses, which is great for safety, but not so much when you need a very dark room for sleeping. As it turned out, these curtains made my room much too dark for my 3am bathroom visits, and so I split the difference, and also use a dim plug-in night light close to the floor.I like the color, the slight metallic wave pattern and the easy to hang grommets, but have one comment about the finish. Even in less expensive panels, it is customary to have a bottom hem that matches the width of the top edge, somewhere between 3-4". These panels have a tiny double turn finish on the bottom, like you would see on casual clothing. It cheapens the effect, and also fails to give the needed weight to hang well. I will keep these for now, because of the other benefits, but I will look more carefully when considering this brand in the future. After living with these panels for about a week, and seeing the skimpy bottom hems, I decided to return this set and look elsewhere for curtains with similar features.
