Review on πŸ“Έ Polaroid Go Mini Instant Camera (Model 9035) by Jeffrey Gallagher

Compact, handy body, small photos

I have tried many modern instant cameras in addition to some older models. I generally prefer the Instax brand colors but the size (and better build quality) of the Polaroid models. Also, given the size of their output photos, Polaroid cameras tend to be a bit more reasonably sized compared to Fuji cameras, which are bulky, a bit thin and don't look very good. This model changes the scenario a bit with the introduction of a small Polaroid Go film. It's square unlike the Instax, but small, more like the Instax Mini. I like the larger regular Polaroid film better, even considering its slightly higher cost. BUT I have to say the size of this polaroid body is incredibly compact. It fits in the palm of your hand, packs away easily, and is one of the few instant cameras that's really easy to carry around without a separate carrying case. Not that it fits in a shirt or pants pocket (it's still too bulky in all dimensions for that), but it's a lot smaller than regular models or any Fuji models. If you don't mind small photos, you'll love the size and feel of this camera. It's just adorable. It's basic in function, like most other models, and the viewfinder isn't very good. My white model has just enough white plastic surrounding the viewfinder's narrow entry point that it's a bit difficult to see in bright light. But framing with this camera probably isn't that big of a deal. This is for entertainment. I still prefer full size Polaroid I-Type and 600 film, especially black and white film, but this film just fascinates me at times.
