Make no mistake. It works and works well. It transfers data and power perfectly in my use. However, I have found that when using the USB-C power port on my Ultrabook, it gets stuck in my bag when getting in and out of my bag. Even if, like me, you use your USB-C devices in multiple places all the time, having only one of these adapters is a problem. I need three or four to really make a difference in how I use my devices. Cleans up easily and protects your USB-C port from being "lost" as I now have a few of these that just get lost and easily break the data connection with a light touch. This is a quality product, backed by serious development and testing. If you need such a device and don't want to compromise on data and performance, this is a solid choice.
