Damn, actually works quite well with Romex (NM cable for internal wiring). You can actually use a stapler to flatten the outer insulation, align it and send it where you want it, then mail the staple home. I've used it quite a bit in my wife's stable, made from seasoned old fashioned cedar. Most staples go home when activated, but this wood is very hard and at times I had to prop up the stapled product with a hammer. Darn good value for money and the refills are sold in some of the larger hardware stores.
