I wanted to mount this antenna over the rear window of my newly purchased car just like any other car that had a Sirius radio. Unfortunately she was missing about 2 feet. I usually mount them just above the center of the rear window, route the cable around the window, through the trunk, along the underside of the door frames and behind the dash to the radio. I had to thread it through the sunroof to connect to the radio. Hence a lost star. Otherwise a very good antenna. Good reception even in heavily tree-covered areas.
