They are very cute but I wouldn't plan to walk in them much. I wore them to a 9 mile race and both socks ended up with small holes in the toe area. I was able to return them and got a new pair. I'm saving the new ones for the Thanksgiving 5K Indian Trot and hoping they hold up in a shorter, less stressful race. They have cotton in them - not sure how much as the label doesn't say a percentage - so not the best option for real running, on top of the fact that they didn't withstand a longer, harder race. They're fun, but not very practical. I plan on saving them for next year's use when I can run a 5K without holes on Thanksgiving. This is the first time I've had holes in my socks when I first walked in them!
