True, no reprogramming required
Before installation I had the following issues with my 2011 Ford Edge: - Intermittent connection - "Contact Dealer". Message - Top View The dealer charged me $700 for the repair. I installed this camera and it works as advertised. I have my principles; reprogramming is not required. I'd say picture quality is the same as a 10 year old OEM, which makes sense given that no one is changing displays or updating software to allow for higher resolution. Search YouTube for installation instructions; With the right tools, it takes less than 20 minutes.
