I received the item today. Small and easy to set up. I am amazed at how effective this collar is. I imagine the neighbors would be stocking up on sniper rifles in the coming weeks if it wasn't for that shiny collar. First point - I totally disagree with EVERYONE whose reviews say this device is brutal. You obviously either don't know how it works or are using it incorrectly. The device simply beeps and vibrates (just like your phone vibrates). My son thought it might be cruel so I put it on myself and it doesn't hurt. Second, after charging, which was quick, we put the collar on as we let him out in the garden where he is the loudest. As soon as he barked he let out a shrill voice (not too high as he had started on the lowest level), he looked a little panicked but stopped and sat down. I wasn't sure at first if that would scare him completely, but it seems to have just distracted and warned him. I take the collar off once inside the house and he calms down a lot. would definitely recommend!
