Edit: 8/15/2020 I removed 2 stars after trying to remove the cover and it was too difficult and left a lot of space on my screen. This one has been on screen since day one. They are good, but leave marks. It's coming, but I didn't expect it. Original: May 2020 You are wonderful. They won't make you break your new $$$ screen. I first bought one of these sliding lids. Well, one of those covers freed up so much space that my Mac's screen broke while I was in my bag. This crack was in the center of my screen, starting from the dead center of that sliding cover. After this costly learning curve, I purchased this sticker set as a cheap and safe way to avoid damaging my screen. Save yourself heartache and a ton of money on repairs with these stickers. They fit the front of my MacBook perfectly. I've even attached a few to other areas of the faceplate as backups in case the original doesn't stick again. I am very happy with my purchase.
