Rotors for my 2003 Silverado Extended Cab 4X4. They were so loud initially that it felt like I was trying to stop on gravel rather than regular brakes. Even when I started driving, if I didn't hit the brakes, they were loud. This went on for about 20 miles, each mile being quieter than the last. I also bought the EBC 6000 series pads which caused most of the noise. I followed the EBC break-in procedure to brake with the pads at the recommended 400 miles. With EBC rotors and pads, the truck stops better, smoother, quieter and shorter than any other combination I've used before. We've put over 3,000 miles on the new brakes and I like them more with every mile! I've worked with cars and trucks for 45 years and although I now live in Kentucky I've lived most of my life in western Pennsylvania where brakes are taken seriously!
