I bought these because I'm allergic to most sheets and thought they would save me money in the long run. Maybe better and longer than balls of yarn. I received a few packs and dropped 6 with a large load and a dryer sheet. It worked great but was very noisy. I've heard people say that more balls are needed to be effective. The clothes were fluffy and seemed to work. I plucked up the courage to try them without a drying towel and failed miserably. So much static that I considered getting my clothes wet and drying them with sheets. Foil balls work better and don't make noise. That's what I get when I try to be trendy. FAILED
