Let me save you time, money and hassle by telling you that if you are looking for an efficient laptop cooling solution then you should simply buy this product. had or tried was as effective as this one, even close. The only downside of this product is that it is overpriced, but why waste money on an ineffective product? This one works. I see temperature drops between 5°C and 15°C depending on usage. The quality of the materials seems to be good, unlike the useless and inefficient laptop coolers I've had before. The volume of this product doesn't bother me personally, but it might be an issue for some. I have used this product with Strix G17 3070/5900hx. An example scenario is Fortnite running with a frame cap of 120fps, max/epic settings, RTX off and DLSS quality and typically has a GPU temp of 86C that never seems to want to go higher than I think it does, that this is a sign of throttling. With the same settings and almost maximum fan speed, the GPU and CPU temperatures are around 75-77°C. It seems to be operating at around 39C when idling. This is a 5 star product for what it does and works well. However, if you consider everything else, namely the price, you might see things differently. I haven't found any other effective external laptop cooling solution. That's it.
