Considering you are using this likely after some surgery, swelling and discomfort are expected, but the designers are thinking about how to help that when they put large, hard seams down the chin and across the neck. It would be EASY to make that piece seamless to help with comfort. For now, I’m turning the strap inside out so the seams are in the outside.
