It would be nice if the keyboard stayed connected.

I'm seriously considering returning this item. Charges no longer than 5 minutes. So I'm assuming it's fully charged. However, the keyboard doesn't stay connected, the power light turns off after a few minutes, and I can't reconnect to my iPad. ) and within reach (I suspect it's definitely next to within reach.) The case is soft and comfortable to the touch, although it feels cheap and not very durable. I guess if you're the kind of person who doesn't take incredible care of their business, this business won't last long. The soft rubber around it is nice and the apple pencil storage/holder is cool, although I use a pencil case which I can't use pen storage in. I checked it. I put my hat (1st generation) in the little hole for him. I almost got that bastard back. so he has some grip. It has some weight, so it's not a light body. I think most of the weight is on the keyboard. The magnet that holds the keyboard in place is VERY strong. That's a big plus for me! You can move the keyboard, but it takes some effort (I like that, FYI). Very thin. All in all, if the keyboard REALLY worked, I'd be in seventh heaven with this case. However, I can't keep the keyboard plugged in, charging, and/or keeping it charged. I bought it on sale for $21 and am very upset that I spent $21 on a product that doesn't appear to be working properly. Even if the display doesn't show loading, I'll leave it as it is. connected for a few hours and try again. If it gets me by tomorrow I'll return it. I have a battery powered blue tooth keyboard that I've been using since I bought my iPad in March 2021 and it's basically October 2021 now (a day early) and I haven't even had to change the batteries in this keyboard yet . I wanted something easy to take with me as I use my iPad a lot, this seemed perfect, but the keyboard is the most important feature for me and I can't have a faulty one. Update: I've arranged for a replacement, but I think I might just do a full one on my return if the next one doesn't behave exactly. A faulty keyboard seems to be the norm in this case, and I also noticed that "ELK-BLEDOM" suddenly popped up in my Bluetooth list when I turned on this keyboard. However, these are NOT Bluetooth connections, just a "Bluetooth keyboard" that will eventually appear to connect. Digging some... ELK-BLEDOM is something like a "hidden camera light bar" and it makes me very nervous to have that at home. However, connecting to ELK-BLEDOM doesn't require parity or anything like that, it just connects and the only way to disconnect is to disable Bluetooth entirely. UPDATE 2: After returning the first case, ELK-BLEDOM disappeared from my Bluetooth list as soon as it left my area. The second fall seemed like an improvement, but it's not that much. The keyboard takes a long time to connect to the iPad when it's on, although it's an improvement over the first which didn't connect at all. I - 100% - do not recommend this case at all. And I'm going to look for a keyboard that performs at least as well as my $10 Onn Bluetooth from Walmart. Because it's complete bullshit. I'm not happy at all with this turn of events.
