Review on Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Fixed Lens - Discontinued by Manufacturer by Eh Shee Lay ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I do not cease to rejoice at the purchase, a very good deal!

Read a lot of comments here. I agree with many, which is why I bought this lens for myself. It blurs the background just fine. They can achieve the expression of their ideas by focusing sharpness on a particular area by focusing exactly on this point with a fully open aperture. With a slightly covered aperture, an excellent portrait is obtained (for which it was bought). The Canon EOS 60D catches focus perfectly even in poor lighting. It is ALWAYS aimed at the central point, without errors. If you use the screen, it sometimes doesn’t focus right away, but sometimes it doesn’t focus at all in the twilight (like any other lens). Allows you to take pictures in a low-light room without a flash! Bokeh 5+! If you do not kick with your feet, it will not loosen because it is quite tightly assembled (Malaysia). "Gadgets" against the background are very cute! Unusual, artistic! I will attach a few photos of today. VERY SATISFIED WITH THE PURCHASE! Purchase time: 01/13/2022 Used analogues: Kit EFS 18-55 Z. Y. For those who have problems with autofocus, focus manually. A normal modern camera beeps as it finds a focus point (mine can) and blinks a focus confirmation point.

Pros
  • Not big, light, not expensive! Sharp, light, pleasant.
Cons
  • There is no depth of field scale. Small stroke of the sharpening ring.
