. I used Prismacolor watercolor pencils and was really unhappy with them

I used Prismacolor watercolor pencils and really wasn't happy with them. I watched a video on the Owings Art YouTube channel and realized that Prismacolor pencils are not professional grade watercolor pencils. Marty Owings said that when we have doubts about the watercolor pencils we have in our stash, we should look for the brush icon on the pencil. The brush icon indicates that the watercolor pencil is professional quality. I remember having to use a harder synthetic brush to spread the Prismacolor watercolor pencils on the paper. With the Albrecht Dürer watercolor pencils from Faber-Castel, I was able to squirt water out of my small spray bottle and the paint diluted where the water was dripping. Maybe there are even better watercolor pencils out there; but I really like these Faber-Castel Albrecht Dürer pencils.

Pros

Cons
