I bought NuMetal after watching a Project Farm YouTube review while looking at some epoxy putties and NuMetal came out the winner. The reason I bought it was to try to fix a broken window frame that was damaged by my home's original builder almost 15 years ago and then discovered by the guys at Milgard Window Service. I contacted Milgard to get a warranty job, only to find out that this particular sash was no longer being made (yes, window manufacturers do this to make money, huh?!). for a new window. Basically everyone said everything needed to be replaced, including the undamaged right side window, and the price ranged from $3,000 to $7,000. I declined, so I bought NuMetal a while back. I fixed it 2 days ago, sanded it down and it's hard as a rock! What you need to know about ANY epoxy product is that you need to let it sit and cure at a higher temperature for at least 2 days, yes that's true despite what the packaging says. I only know that from experience. If you're doing winter renovations, consider using a heat gun to speed up the process. I literally kept the window out in the sun for hours for 2 days. NO problems with cracking.
