So this is the second collar I got. The first came with a training collar. I bought one in bright orange. When I trimmed it, I cut it too short so it kept coming off when my pup scratched. The holes wore out over time so the pin kept popping out. I felt like it kept coming off because I cut it too short. So I bought a second one in black (this purchase). This time I was sure I wouldn't cut it too short! So this time I left a few inches slack and the collar STILL comes loose. It has nothing to do with excessive play, it has to do with the holes and the fact that they just wear out and the pin comes out easily. I wish there was an alternative. I will not buy this product again.
