Having the right tool for the job is half the battle!
I had to deal with all the coax cables in my house because years ago the builders didn't bother to put labels on them. This tool is so ridiculously easy to use that it took hours of trying for 15 minutes of work sorting through 6 different cables. You want to place most of the two pieces (with the battery inside) on the link in the room you're trying to find. Then bring the buzzer part up to the cable junction box and simply screw it onto any cable connections you have. The one that buzzes, the one you want!
