I've owned a pair for about a year, the first 2 months they sounded good, after 3 months I had to increase the crossover transfer to the subwoofer as they had problems with low frequency effects, then after 7 months my pair started making a buzzing noise at low and high frequencies with the driver's side. After replacing the speakers (I won't go into the details of the replacement other than to say that the new pair greatly improved the quality and depth of the sound field in my car), I discovered that one component was the three-way tweeter damaged. output, causing a strange hum at certain volumes and playback speeds. I didn't even turn on that loud music in the car as I have heavy/blunt doors to keep out noise and road noise.
