Nice upgrade from the factory

I installed these in my 2008 Silverado extra cab. 6.5 in the front and rear doors. I'm definitely happy with them, they sound great! The only reason I give 4 stars for the sound is that it gets a bit muffled when you turn it all the way on, but that's to be expected as I didn't spend as much on it as I did on a JBL. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a factory upgrade, they will certainly get the job done with nice clean sound and mostly good bass. However, if you're looking for…

I've owned a pair for about a year, for .

I've owned a pair for about a year, the first 2 months they sounded good, after 3 months I had to increase the crossover transfer to the subwoofer as they had problems with low frequency effects, then after 7 months my pair started making a buzzing noise at low and high frequencies with the driver's side. After replacing the speakers (I won't go into the details of the replacement other than to say that the new pair greatly improved the quality and depth of the sound field in my car), I…

Overall a very good quality speaker

Overall this is a great speaker replacement for my 2016 Honda CR-V. However, I don't think their bass is that significant. It's there, but not that much. The highs and mids are really crisp, which has improved the overall sound quality. I just wish the base was a little better. Interestingly, the factory speakers have a slightly larger base, but the mids are terrible and muddy. I need to add a small subwoofer to bring out the low end. I should also note that they have more base than the pair of

They are suitable for replacing speakers

Both speakers are installed in a 1996 Toyota Corolla. Installation will not be difficult for those with some experience installing aftermarket speakers in a car. The sound is clear, but the bass is weaker compared to the factory paper cones and woofers. ** This shocked me. They're good for replacing speakers, but if you need more bass, consider pairing them with a small subwoofer to make up for the bass loss. I love Pioneer and have used their products in all my cars so I was a little…

Great speakers, great price, Pioneer!

I got two pairs of these three way speakers to replace all four speakers in my car that were four way. Pioneer's AVIC-X950BH in-dash navigation AV receiver with built-in 50W x 4 amplifier works well, making these speakers a good fit for the 50W rating. The old 4 bands were rated at 60w so the quality wasn't very good not to mention it was kind of a generic brand. I find that 3-way speakers offer better sound quality than 4-way speakers. Installing it on my Integra was easy. Simply remove the…

Great sounding speakers perfect for a 2009 Chevy Cobalt

I'll copy and paste my review of the 2009 Chevy Cobalt speaker adapter as it applies here: I have a 2009 Chevy Cobalt. front doors. Nothing more - they're here because their factory speakers suck, don't work anymore and are stuck to the speaker cabinet. Sneaky sneaky. I have the following adapter for these speakers for my car: Scosche SAGMHR634B 2006-Up Chevrolet HHR / Impala speaker adapter for 6+ inch or 6+ inch. All from amazon.com. They are a perfect match and work together. No additional…

Installed on Honda Accord 4dver 2006 - Good choice!

I was looking for new loudspeakers that deliver a better sound than my standard loudspeakers. I chose Pioneer based on the reviews on this and many other audio sites. God I made a good choice. These little ones weigh a lot more than traditional speakers and it shows in the sound. There is plenty of bass and very clean mids and highs. I've bought aftermarket speakers in the past that weren't well known brands and left a lot to be desired in the bass range. However, these pioneers offer a lot of…

For Mercedes Benz 1999 E Class

After much research I chose them to replace the front door panel speakers. Installation: Because also 3 way speakers low/high , requires a specific Mercedes E class front door speaker mount (my fitment shop had one) Bass/treble sounds 'right' Value for money is great as I paid less than half the list price for an hour to get it I wouldn't recommend you do it yourself without spending a good 2 hours and pretty sure playing around with removing and reinstalling the Mercedes door panel, your…
