These 2 ounce mugs are perfect for a beginner like me or a pro who needs a beautiful and functional set to properly serve your guests. I am very happy. I think I followed the directions well, adjusting the cups so that the espresso slides down the sides of the cup at an angle, which preserves the espresso crema, rather than letting the espresso fall and spurt into the center .
