My original controller died when the battery died so I needed a replacement. Initially, I bought a significantly cheaper head unit, which worked for a short time, but then suddenly stopped working. Returned and got one exactly like that. Worked for a few days, then the same. Came to find out that the temperature was freezing the LCD screen, causing the screen to show only white. That's when I came across this head unit. To be honest I'm glad I had to deal with all the spare parts to get this head unit as it is a beast compared to the original head unit. It has many more features and is essentially an Android tablet connected to a car. It works well with Bluetooth, uses GPS well, uses radio well, and has a Play Store. So when I'm in my car waiting for something, I can watch YouTube if I want. The only reason I give it 4 stars is the installation and a little buggy. It was painful, but at least it didn't need to be bolted to the car (it doesn't move at all while driving). Sometimes maps randomly decide to stop working (only when entering a destination, it works fine once navigation starts). Not a big deal, but a bit annoying. I can add pics later if anyone is interested in seeing what it looks like in a 2014 crown.
