I live on the 27th floor in a very busy area of Chicago, facing south. The apartment came with privacy screen shades, but that hardly blocked out the light. The sun also heats up my apartment to 90 degrees almost every day. I had enough, so I researched to find blackout curtains that would help with the light and heat issue. I am so happy I purchased these curtains! They do a great job of blocking out light (I purchased the green color) and most of the heat. I love the color and quality of these curtains. They aren't super fancy, but they do the job and look pretty good! I highly recommend. These have been one of the best purchased I think I've ever made.
