I'm a runner and I put this on my Honda CRV seat when I drive home to keep the sweat off the seat. Three things: I use it for short runs and just hang the hood on my headrest. I don't bother with other fastening methods. It holds its place well and is very simple. Because it is easy to fold or roll up, it takes up little space in the car. I can just tuck it under my seat when not in use. I can wash it! I let it air dry. Like the towel, I throw it in the washing machine every now and then. I have a different seat cover, but it is not machine washable. This cheaper option is actually easier and suits my needs. I would buy it again without hesitation.
