We have two Philips toothbrushes - the Sonicare EasyClean models, HX6530 and HX6250. Unfortunately we forgot to take our charging station with us when traveling this summer. We purchased this replacement version which works as intended with some limitations. The long cord fits most countertops. Thankfully, we didn't see any significant difference in charge time between this replacement model and the Philips base. However, there are a few notable downsides. This base lacks the weight of the Philips model, likely due to the thinner plastic. It also feels warm after charging and will keep our toothbrushes warm for a while, which might be worth considering. Finally, landing can be uncomfortable; The HX6530 pulls on easily and appears to have room, while the HX6250 is a much tighter fit. While it works as advertised, as others have pointed out, I would caution you against leaving your toothbrush charged indefinitely.
