I live in an area where our houses aren't too far apart, so it was quite inconvenient to wash dishes at the kitchen sink with a window in front of me and a direct view of my neighbor's house. At first my husband and I wanted to get blinds or shutters for the window, but I was afraid that the plants I like to put on the windowsill would not get enough light. So we made a compromise with this wonderful product. It was very easy to use. I had no problems with air bubbles and it stuck to my window well after I cleaned the window. The colors are amazing and the natural light still shines without compromising the privacy we aim to provide. I may buy more for other windows in the house in the future. Be sure to measure your windows so you know how much to cut. I measured out the extra 1 inch for tolerance and cut it off with a planer knife after applying. I checked out what it looks like from the outside and it wasn't that pretty. I didn't care but others might be wondering what their windows look like from the outside I guess. At least nobody sees it! :D
