It works great and is fun. Noise Protection Upgrade

Update: Well I bought these for my wife and girls who love candles. I noticed that only my wife uses them and the girls started asking for lighters again. They said they couldn't stand the sound. My wife and I hear nothing but a low hiss. But all my girls under 22 say they have a loud high pitched cry. The 24-year-old says she can hear him, but not that loud. Deducting a star for any discomfort when using it on young ears. First review: I bought a total of 5 of these headphones and they all worked as expected. No flaws as in some reviews. I was surprised how fast they glow and how strong they are. You burn literally everything you expect to burn. 600 lights on a single charge doesn't seem that far off. I've been using my main unit in the kitchen for a few weeks to light some candles and have definitely run over them a few times and long tried to light candles where we've broken the wicks or were covered in wax. Only 1 bar fell. Also used to light cigarettes. It wasn't ideal as you have to squeeze the end of the cigarette to fit, but all my guests have said it works. If I were a smoker I would settle for a butane lighter. I plan to keep one of these in my hiking gear for windy days. Wax illuminates windswept cotton like a champ when regular light doesn't. Quickly ignites my gas stove and propane stove. I'm a bit concerned about the durability of the tip when firing stoves. Time will tell if too much heat will do him any harm. He also kindles the fire with small dry sticks and needles. It works when wet. BUT it will not illuminate anything that is wet. Dip the tip in water and light the paper towel. Trying to light a damp paper towel is impossible. If you want a starter that can dry before lighting, this isn't it. I generally love stuff like that. I don't have to throw away disposable lighters or worry about how much gas I have left, and I don't have to carry/keep a bottle of butane.
