This rack is a perfect match for our Dodge Journey's original roof rack. I was concerned that it would "fit" but didn't feel solid. That was an unnecessary concern, all the mounts are adjustable and finally this is the most reliable stand I have ever owned. The rack itself is well designed for the job. I wouldn't say it's overloaded, but it's perfectly adequate for what it's intended for. Our stand up surfboards attach perfectly and there are many places to securely attach and tie them down. The trunk is lightweight, so removing it from the car is very easy. Overall a great quality shelf!
