Awesome way to get more bacteria!

I have one in 55 and two 20 gallon HOB filter tanks. This is a great way to reduce filter maintenance costs and add more biological filters. It's very easy to clean. I simply fill the bag with water from the aquarium, move it around, tighten and carefully remove. A few vigorous splashes of aquarium water are enough. This is a haven for beneficial bacteria! The price is fantastic just make sure you get the right size. It is rough (therefore it does not clog) but does not allow the fry to be sucked in. Excellent value for money and will buy again!
