beautiful thing! I have replaced the "standard" steel in my knife block with steel developed for a new high carbon knife I received as a gift. The only downside that doesn't hurt the tool itself is that it doesn't fit on the block as it's thicker than the old one I have. This way it stays in its very decent box in which it was delivered. It's a good weight and the steel has been polished well to keep my knives sharp. "Fiery" handle is made of nice wood and I am very happy with it, especially for the price.
