Does the job! For some reason the footage folder doesn't show up when I used the camera's USB cable (Canon DSLR 5D Mark II), when i use the file recovery software (usb cable is used to transfer footage from camera with card inside to computer) i bought this card reader and it solved the problem i wish the small cable was longer, so it doesn't dangle when plugged in, but it was a cheaper option compared to others and that's what I was willing to put up with Super handy that it supports different types of cards (SF, CF, etc.).
