Good for kitchen towels or other general purposes. Their thickness and waffle pattern make them more absorbent and softer than other synthetic microfiber towels I've used before. The main issue I have is related to the dyes used, especially red. As mentioned, red towels bleed A LOT. They even washed other towels in the package. I soaked two red towels separately in liquid detergent and when I poured them into the tub it looked like a scene from Psycho. Seriously, I felt like part of the crime scene cleanup crew. When you get these towels, be sure to soak the red ones and don't mix them with your regular laundry until you're sure they've stopped bleeding.
