Great but weird. - Portable CD Players

Good news: The speaker works! The bad news is that there is little. about that. Pros: 1) The sound quality is excellent. It can be both very loud and very quiet, but it sounds good on both sides of the spectrum. 2) It's pretty intuitive to use. However, if you encounter problems, the instruction manual is simple. 3) It has a pretty cool adjustable stand so you don't have to hang it on the wall. If not, you could probably use an iPad stand or something similar. 4) In addition to many gaming functions, it comes with an extra cable, which is a good addition. 5) LOVE using the bluetooth option. A lot of times I'll play a CD that shows up on the speaker except from my phone and then mix in other songs lol. Cons: 1) The remote control function doesn't always work. Sometimes the speaker won't turn on and I have to turn it on using the pull mechanism on the unit (you'll know what I mean after purchase). Even if you want to jump to a specific song on a CD, you can't. Both the remote and the buttons on the speaker simply switch to a very random part of any song, or simply restart the entire CD. There are also numbered buttons on the remote, but they don't seem to do much when the CD function is activated as, again, you can't consciously play a specific song. 2) I really hope the next imposter is a device and not some supernatural - or, uh, demonic - presence. Sometime in the middle of the night I have to get up because the CD player turns itself on. The speaker bulbs light up to the fullest and the CD spins. by itself. Sometimes I hear it before the song starts playing because I wake up while the disc is spinning. Other times I'm not so lucky. I can deal with the number one cheat, but this one gets a little annoying. 3) It's just that I'm a bit picky, but if you're looking for a speaker that lets you feel bass to the core then go for it this one is not for you. As mentioned, the speaker can be very loud and very quiet, but it falls short of the mark if it doesn't really showcase the song's engineered magnificence. I gave this device a lower rating, ESPECIALLY due to the fact that everything turns on in the middle of the night.
