We just replaced the same pump we had after 6 or 7 years of use! This item is worth every penny! We originally bought it to camp in remote areas where there is no running water and creek water is not safe to drink, or where there was running water but didn't taste good. This pump is perfect! When our 5 gallon dispenser at home broke down, we just pulled this kid out of the RV and used it daily instead. Hell knows how many hundreds of liters of water were pumped out before he died. I did not hesitate to replace it with the same product.
