Works great, but not with all water bottles. My best advice. This is for use with screw top/threaded bottles. I've only managed to make a seal using a traditional peel-top style bottle. I don't know how else to describe it, but when applied to the right type of bottle, it's amazing. Just make sure you stop pumping before what you're putting in is full. After the last pump, the pump will continue to run for about five seconds.

I bought this to replace a previous pump from another brand. I have to say this pump is harder to pump but it pumps better than the old one. It fits tighter to the jug. However, there is a learning curve. As the water sinks, it takes longer for the water to ooze out, so you need to measure it properly so you don't overfill your glass, water bottle, whatever you're filling. It stops dripping sooner when the 5 gallon bottle is fuller.

Bought to replace a failed electric version. This is a fully manual pump that can handle different sizes of water tanks. Terapump seems to be very durable and easy to use. My only negative comment is that it is very big. I didn't know how big it was. This is normal and does not affect use and I find it very important to make pumping easier. It clamps on top of the water container neck and doesn't move. You push on the top and pump water out of the spout.

first of all it works. It works exactly as intended. What they don't tell you is that this is an air pump and not a water pump. It pressurizes the bottle you attach it to (the plastic bottle will inflate a bit) and releases air when you release the pump plunger. I'm not sure I would have bought it had I known about it.
