This is a nice suit, especially for the money. I ordered a 2X. I am long waisted, 40 D, size 12 hips, size 14/16 waist. My hips are narrow, in comparison to my waist and bust. This suit works, and it doesn't balloon out over my butt and hips. Usually to get a suit to fit through the bust, and not cut into the front of my armpits, the hip/butt area is huge. The back is very flattering. It doesn't dig in. I call my body type an inverted triangle. I do not think this suit would work on a smaller upper body and larger hips.
