We use a pull chain on our ceiling fan to turn the light on and off while the fan is running. Because it's used so often, we need to change switches regularly, so I ordered two of these so we'll have one on hand next time. We asked someone else to install it and it took about 15 minutes. However, after installation, the switch worked perfectly. In fact, I think it was better than the other two we had to replace. As it just got installed I don't know how long it will last under heavy use so I'll upgrade if it doesn't last as long as expected. Otherwise, I highly recommend this switch.
