Update: Less than a month later the remote stopped working. It worked last night but not this morning. I've done all troubleshooting to no avail. I will return it and find a more durable remote. I've had the remote for a few weeks now and so far it's better than the original that came with the TV. It was easy to program (it took a few codes, but it was easy) and watching Netflix has never been easier. I highly recommend it if you are looking to replace the horrible remote control that came with your TV.
