so i took a chance because the only reviews when i bought these were from people who got them for free but i thought they cheap and there was a coupon so let's do it! Very glad I did. I love oil based crayons and they are of a higher quality - they lay flat, are layered and mix and match well with themselves and other brands of crayons. Of course I don't expect them to be lightfast, but for sketchbooks, coloring, drawing they will work fine. My only complaint is that the pens don't have color numbers and as some of the leads look very similar on the darker pens I had to mark the pens with a marker to avoid accidentally getting the wrong one. Overall I would recommend them and if the manufacturer had a larger set I would buy them.
