One-piece siliconized rubber. The holes match up well with the license plate holes. Insulates and insulates the plate from contact with the metal of the car. The thin bezel does not obscure the license plate information. Eg current sticker with date of first registration, condition etc. A bit thin, but sufficient to dampen the damping plate against contact with metal and to practically exclude noise from vibrations etc. I can't say anything about the durability, but it seems to be durable enough. No change after a few months of use, however the cars are in a garage. Simple in appearance, so there aren't any buzzwords that I like more.
