My first Magic Bullet came from Costco last summer after I bought Isagenix. The first lasted about a year (used to shake 2-4 times a day) before the black plastic ring broke. It still works, but you have to keep it - you can't leave it. However, the blades failed earlier. The Isagenix model is more reliable and still works. Bought a refurbished unit to replace a unit purchased from Costco. It has been used <15 times due to bringing my Isagenix device home from work and taking the problem device to the office. I thought it was the smell of hot wire but my husband didn't smell it. Today, two days after the return window closed, he began to die. The smell of burning and a noticeable slowdown in engine rotation. Dissatisfied.
